The fourth climber and a wider shop

Forest Keeper — Druid skin
The Forest Keeper — antlered, vine-armoured.

Three days, three big drops. The Spire now has a fourth class, a wider boss roster, and a much larger cosmetic catalogue. Everything below is live on pyrekin.com — no patch download, just refresh.

Druid joins the climb

The Warrior, Mage, and Rogue have a new neighbour. The Druid starts at 72 HP with a four-card opening hand built around Wild Strike, Soothe, Bloom, and Twin Briar — a small kit that wants you to attack and heal in the same swing. Their full pool is 33 cards across common, uncommon, rare, and three mastery cards (Ancient Oath, Moonbloom, Earthsplitter) that unlock as you stack Druid wins.

They get a starter relic — Living Branch, heal 4 HP at the end of every won combat — plus two class-locked uncommon relics, Bramble Charm and Wildgrowth Crown, that only roll for Druid runs. Default skin is Hermit's Robe; three paid alternates (Forest Keeper, Briar Witch, Ancient Grove) are in the shop.

Three new bosses, one per act

Each act now draws from four bosses instead of three.

  • Thornclad Warden (act 1): vine_lash → bramble_shield → thorn_slam, with Weak applied on the opening swing.
  • Chorus of One (act 2): three voices in one ribcage — whisper, harmonize (+3 STR on itself), then a Frail-laced chorus blast.
  • Ash Vintner (act 3): pours burning embers, drinks from its own press for a 15 HP heal, then cracks a 22-damage pyre press. Plan your block budget.

Each got a bespoke arena background and a one-line epithet on the boss splash. The pool is now twelve bosses total — four per act, drawn at run start.

29 new card paintings

Every Druid card now ships with hand-painted art generated on a local Flux 2 GPU pipeline. Same painterly oil-on-umber treatment as the existing card pool, batched overnight.

Seven new cosmetic categories

The shop went from thirteen to nineteen categories. None of this affects gameplay; everything is opt-in.

  • Profile titles — eleven worn next to your name on /profile and the leaderboard, from the Climber through Eternal.
  • Energy orbs — five painted alternatives (Frostflame, Voidflame, Greenfire, Bloodflame, Sunfire) that re-skin the combat energy dial.
  • HP bar styles — five gradient/track combos (Runic, Frost, Bloodied, Verdant, Voidlit) on player and mobile-strip HP bars.
  • Map node themes — four palettes (Iron, Emerald, Void, Gilded) recolouring the SVG nodes and connectors.
  • Card borders — five ring/glow treatments applied to every card in hand.
  • Title-screen ambience — three options (Cinder Storm, Snowfall, Void Drift) replacing the default ember drift on the home page.
  • +3 skins per non-Druid class — nine new paid skins (Stoneborn Warden, Ember Centurion, Kestrel Commander; Stormcaller Archmage, Lava Witch, Starbound Oracle; Alley Wraith, Ash Dancer, Thorned Assassin). Class packs grew to match.

What's next

The Druid still needs a longer Mastery tail and a couple of more uncommon relics. Sound effects packs and boss intro flairs are queued behind a proper audio-generation pipeline. And localisation — including Russian — keeps inching up the list. If you've been climbing, thanks. The Spire is wider now.
